We’re looking for high energy individuals with a strong financial/analytic background and strong communication skills for a role as Analyst of Development for Surgical Care Affiliates, a fast growing national healthcare services leader. As part of SCA’s vision to be the partner of choice and growth leader in the industry, the Analyst of Development will ensure identification and deal execution of all viable growth opportunities within SCA’s Northeast portfolio, and will drive transformation growth and support execution of established goals.
Working with the Vice President and Director of Development, the successful candidate will be interacting with physicians, health systems and SCA senior management in developing and analyzing/modeling surgery center acquisition targets. With both a sales and financial analysis focus, this is a challenging and exciting role with opportunity for growth and advancement.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
•Responsible for providing financial analytic support in assessing a re-syndication, acquisition and/or merger opportunities
•Challenging the Development leads and responsible Operations executives as to the contribution of the proposed transaction to the overall benefit to company
•Assist the Development lead in managing the legal, compliance and executive approvals required
•Assist in developing the business plan, executive summary and pro forma financial statements required to obtain the above approvals
•Serve as a key point of internal communication to other departments in the Due Diligence process, and manage the utilization of external resources in the Due Diligence process
•Bachelor’s Degree required
•1-2 years’ experience working with financial analysis, transactional deals, or similar required
•Extremely strong financial, analytical and written skills
•Strong skills in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
