Looking for a great opportunity in a great location? We seek candidates with acute care hospital accounting and managerial experience for the role of Manager of Accounting. In this role you will direct all aspects of maintenance and reporting on accounting records for health system organizations. This position works collaboratively with finance management and other departments to ensure support for financial operations, and coordinates accounting for alternative investments, fixed assets, interest expense, self-insured liabilities, physician guarantees and other information required for annual audits.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in a business-related area. Active California CPA licensure preferred. Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and integrated financial systems. Must have five (5) or more years of accounting experience, including experience in a not-for-profit healthcare organization. Must have one (1) year of supervisory/management experience. Hospital accounting and managerial experience is required.
