Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
Full Time eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits.
Shift: 1 (Either Monday through Friday 8:00a-4:30p OR 4 10-hour days 7:00a-5:30p Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Some call is required.)
Under the supervision of the laboratory coordinator, prepares patients for a combination of routine EEG and special END procedures, such as electroencephalogram, long-term and intra-operative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, autonomic testing, including diagnostic and investigative studies in the laboratory, at the bedside, and in critical care units, on all ages of patients served by the department. This position does require some on-call hours except for optional part-time and Epilepsy monitoring staff. Additional duties but not limited to charge capture, scheduling patients and other duties as assigned.
Two or more years of experience is required. High school graduate or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or 2 or more years experience is required. Registration as an EEG Technologist is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire. Candidate will need to successfully pass marking and measuring during the interview.
