Responsibilities
The Psychiatric-Mental Health Registered Nurse is a member of the Medical Services team. He/she uses the nursing process, which involves assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, as the foundation for clinical decision making for all clients. The Psychiatric-Mental Health Registered Nurse works with a multi-disciplinary team to provide and coordinate optimal services for the Center's clients.
Requirements
This position requires a Registered Nurse with a current Kansas Nursing License. A RN with a baccalaureate degree in nursing is preferred. Experience in working with persons with mental illness preferred. Strong verbal and written skills required. Knowledge of community resources. Strong documentation skills required. Valid Kansas drivers license, access to reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. Basic computer skills and data entry is necessary to complete the duties of this job.
Hours
Full-time, 40 hours p/week Mon-Fri, no nights, weekends or on-call hours.
